After starting this blog and then letting it lay fallow for a few months, I have decided to give it some effort this summer. It will have a special emphasis on bike art and on projects using bicycles for development, community empowerment, and other forms of do-gooditude.
To begin, a quick roundup of a few things, some of which I hope to write about in more detail later:
- Velo-City exhibit has opened at the Museum of Vancouver.
- MonkElectric has released a crazy persistence of vision bike LED video gizmo.
- Portland’s Zoobomb Pyle has a new sculpture.
- Speaking of Portland, Pedalpalooza just got started, 2 weeks of open-source bike fun.
- And for the long-term planners, the Velo-city conference next June will be in Copenhagen. Of course!
