When you get interested in building a tallbike or a freak bike of some kind, it comes in handy to make friends with someone whose back yard has a section that looks like this:
And it’s even better if the reason their yard looks like that is because of the welding torch in their garage and the row of freak bikes they have lined up under tarps beside the house.
Well, I’ve accomplished that step. And after a pleasurable couple of hours sifting through the pile, suitable frames have been segregated and plans have been laid.
More soon, including the identity of my awesome collaborator. We’re just getting started… but we still have plenty of time before the first weekend of August.
